Keep in mind that I spend about 90% of what I draw leaves me feeling deeply ashamed (and my interests, opinions, and appearance) - So I get the feeling I don't have the healthiest concept of shame.
I drew it in the style of someone whose sanity is slowly disintegrating! Yay!
So I started with Kanji/Teddie because I thought it would be perfect for the meme: there are canon hints but it's quite out there pairing-wise, but at the same it's cute and fluffy enough that it makes it entertaining fodder for the meme. Also there is a lot made of Kanji trying to stroke Teddie's fur in the game, which just screams "shameful pairing meme" to me.
Kanji -> [link] is a tough-guy who has a secret weakness for cute animals (he knits plushies)
Teddie -> [link] is... well, he's sort of a talking plush toy that became real so he could 'score with the chicks' (but he doesn't seem picky, getting Kanji to 'smooch' him and saying endless things that indicate he has a crush on Yu, our main character)
You can probably see why I ship them... I didn't see it coming either but that's the beauty of crack ships.
This is not the most shameful thing from P4 that I ship, but it's up there. And it's the funniest (I think)
Comments always appreciated!
Even since drawing this I've come up with so many different Persona pairings, I'll have to do another Shameful Pairing meme
Also Chie and Akihiko become buddy cops who eat steaks on steak-outs.
What ones do you support?
Late reply is late owe; I sowrry *rolls*
I totally dig Akihiko/Chie too! Heck, throw Kanji in there too, Akihiko's great with everybodeh. He's like butter~
Yu/Yosuke is alright if it's written in character (which, unfortunately in my experiences, its not very often), but I like Yu better with Kanji because dem feels, man ;w; He's the only one who understands him, yanno?
I never got the appeal of KanNao either, so we can get pelted to death by fangirls together~ I like Chie/Yukiko the most, because les face it, they're total lesbians for each other, but I'll write Yosuke/Naoto (or Naoto/Yosuke? I'm still not sure who tops...) every now and again. I also like Teddie/Rise, but that's even harder to come by. The sucky part about liking unconventional pairs is that I can't fangirl with anyone D; *le sob*
I just think Yosuke's clearly compensating for something by constantly, awkwardly asserting his heterosexuality every 5 minutes. It makes me suspicious.
Naoto's a difficult person to pair up since she is a bit of an intellectual snob, I think she'd probably want to date someone at least as smart as her. I mean in the game you need maxed Courage and Knowledge to start her S-link, right?
... so a true-to-life study, then?
it makes absolutely no sense, but makes perfect sense
helps that it's currently the only western series published by the two
despite the fact that Hex is a chronic womanizer and notorious manly man, and that Arkham is a sexually repressed prude, after the so far 15 issues they worked together, they are essentially acting like an old married couple
especially the expression Jonah has time to time when reacting to Arkham's nagging essentially reads "yes dear... yeas dear.."
...and what a terrible thing that is. Babies are delicious AND nutritious!
and I'm a straight male
not only including mammals, but also birds and some reptiles
this kinda reminds me of the french comic series Trolls of Troy (it's kinda like the Smurfs, if the smurfs were huge and were killing people for food and sport, and Gargamel just wanted to protect his people, and yes)
one of the main character is Vaha, the trolls' pet human
when she was a baby, the trolls killed and ate her entire family, but when her turn came, they thought she was too adorable, and so they kept her
I really recommend the series
gory as hell, but hilarious [link]
